Recently, we have repeatedly received messages from users about problems with receiving payment. It turned out that they suffered from fraudulent activities of another site, which is similar to ours, but is in no way connected with it.
Be careful: the site located at https://lis-skins.gg/ is fake. It imitates the design of our website, but you won’t be able to sell skins on it. After the user enters their credit card information or mobile phone number to make a payment, a script will run that will replace several numbers. Naturally, the money won’t come, and you’ll simply lose your skins.
The site is promoted through Google advertising, so users who want to sell skins get to it by clicking on advertisements. We are already solving this problem. A complaint has been filed with Google about the dishonest site, and we hope that this resource will soon stop misleading users.
In the meantime, we remind you once again about the basic rules of cybersecurity: before logging into the site using your Steam account or entering credit card information, check that the address is indicated in the address bar of your browser. It should say https://lis-skins.com/. Add it to your bookmarks to make sure you don’t end up on a scam site.
