Recently, one of the NAVI players Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov gave an interview for the HLTV portal, in which he spoke about his experience playing CS:GO, as well as how the lives of players have changed during the pandemic. Boombl4 began performing on the professional stage in 2018, and in 2019 he joined Natus Vincere, where he achieved the greatest results.
Kirill noted that the pandemic has changed his life quite a lot: in conditions when most of the issues have to be resolved online, the days become similar to each other, and this is very tiring. However, he takes restrictions seriously, understanding their necessity for safety.
Speaking about the stability of the team’s results, the player noted that in CS: GO, in principle, it is quite difficult to constantly demonstrate good performance. If a series of victories gives way to defeats, this does not necessarily mean that the team’s level is deteriorating: perhaps the fact is that it encountered an “inconvenient” team. the opponent or players overlooked some aspect of the preparation. The only team that managed to achieve stability recently was Astralis – but it resulted in burnout for her, causing several players to take a break from performing.
Boombl4 called his successful performance in Katowice the most striking victory in his career. This was his first achievement at such a high level, and he managed to show an excellent individual game.
